Professor Lumaret is a world expert in dung beetles and has more than 50-year experience working on this group. He has authored more than 250 scientific papers and publications, including more than 100 articles in peer-reviewed journals. He has also authored several books and book chapters. His areas of expertise are many, including the ecology and eco-biogeography of dung beetles, effect of landscape structure on their distribution and diversity, and non-target effects of parasiticide use on dung-dwelling insects. His role in DBEE is crucial as an advisor to the Importation Theme, by working closely with the French and Moroccan teams, and ensuring the delivery of field based and laboratory research.
