Dr. Behnaz Ghaedi received her Ph.D. in ecology, evolution and physiology from the University of New England in 2017. After completing her undergraduate studies in Iran she was a research assistant in Jyvaskyla University in Finland in 2011 before coming to Armidale in 2013. While completing her PhD she worked as an assistant in the Insect Ecology Laboratory taking part in major projects including a study commissioned in 2014 by NSW state government measuring the effect of stock grazing in various habitat types. Currently, Behnaz is a Research officer for the Dung Beetle Ecosystem Engineers Project at University of New England where she coordinates research records, assists with the setup and maintenance of experiments, and develops and maintains project databases.
