The taxonomy, geographic distribution and feeding habitas of the Canthonines of Puerto Rico (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae)

This paper deals with the adult taxonomy, geographical, altitudinal, and ecological distribution, geographical variation, and feeding behavior of the six species of the Subtribe Canthonina (Tribe Scarabaeini) in Puerto Rico. One new species and two new subspecies of Canthochilum Chapin, and one new subspecies of Canthonella Chapin are described.
